I thought I would respond to the "tag" from Kerri. Not sure if I can think of 6 little known facts that I care to divulge, but I'll try...

1. I hate getting shots. Ok, so this isn't "little known", but I'll share anyway. It's not actually the shot I hate, it's the anticipation, the smell of the alchohol, lifting up the sleeve (or worse), and just waiting for the little stab. I also hate having blood drawn for the same reasons, plus I've been told that I have difficult veins. So I feel like it's always a crap shoot whether or not the needle will hit a vein. I've had experiences where there have been 3 or 4 attempts, each progressively worse than the previous. Each time I pray for a successful "stick" on the first try.

2. I hate make-up. I wish I had listened to my mom and never started wearing it. I think of all the $$ I have spent on it and all the time it takes to "put it on". Unbelieveable. However, as I have aged I decided that I wear it not so much for me, but to make it a little easier for others to look at me without wondering "what the heck is wrong with that lady". I'm still not convinced that the make-up helps, but it makes me feel a little less homely.

3. I have a birthmark on my bum. Actually I believe it's just above my right bum cheek. For those of you with a great imaginatios, that will have to suffice. Enough on that.

4. I feel great anxiety when I'm expected to visit with people - will I have anything to say? will I be polite? will I be accepted? I'm always relieved and exhausted when the visit is over. I most always enjoy the visit, but I still worry about the next one.

5. I wet my pants in the 3rd grade. I held it as long as I could, then let it go...down the slope of the school auditorium. The teacher saw the puddle in the front and followed it uphill to my row and my chair. She escorted me to the restroom and rinsed out my undies and skirt while I waited in the stall. She forgot the socks. Have you ever had diaper rash around your ankles? I never wore that skirt again. Too many bad memories.

6. I always delete those emails that say "please don't delete this" or "if you delete this you will have bad luck". No matter the inducement, I always delete them. Sorry. I've broken every chain and I'm sure several people have died because I didn't forward their email to 10 people. I think I have better things to do than forward someone elses superstitions.

So I'm not tagging anyone. Everyone else has been hit already. I guess the fact that I took the time to do this post means that I don't really have anything better to do....maybe I'll have to start forwarding those emails. Darn it!

That's funny about the whole email chain thing. I do the same thing, but I've always been nervous to tell anybody about it for fear they'll blame me for something! I too will do better on the whole blog thing! I vow to do better, although, technically, I'm the best one!

Judy, I just found you. I thought you were still on the "Yellowstone" blog. Maybe both? Well, anyway.....I can truly relate to several of these. Sad but true.
